West Sichuan Gas Field Desulfurization Station Project of Sinopec Southwest Bureau: The cooperation between Jinxing Group and Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. has achieved smooth production, and the energy industry has taken another important step.

Jinxing Group and Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd. (SEI) work together to usher in an important milestone of Sinopec Southwest Bureau Sichuan Gas Field Desulfurization Station Project! The No. 4 desulfurization station of the project has officially carried out the commissioning in June, with a daily processing scale of 500000 cubic meters. During the trial run, the natural gas produced by the station fully meets the requirements of the national first-class gas standard, and the sulfur quality also meets the first-class product standard. This smooth, safe and stable start-up marks the successful operation of the first desulfurization station in the West Sichuan Gas Field.

What is even more proud is that the No. 3 production and transportation desulfurization station of the western Sichuan gas field successfully passed the acceptance of the China Communications Exchange on July 5, and completed the commissioning on August 11, producing qualified commercial gas, with a daily processing scale of 500000 cubic meters and an annual purified gas production capacity of 0.165 billion cubic meters. This important milestone once again validates our excellence in project implementation.

No.3 desulfurization station was successfully delivered on July 5 and put into operation on August 11.

As the first cooperation project between Venus Group and Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., the West Sichuan Gas Field Desulfurization Station Project is of great significance to both parties. Venus Group undertook the construction of sulfur recovery unit and tail gas treatment unit (60 skids) in the main unit area. It is also SEI's first attempt to use modular design, module procurement, factory skids and on-site assembly for construction. Through this advanced engineering mode, we have effectively reduced the on-site installation workload by more than 30%, successfully reduced the risk of cross operation, and greatly improved the construction efficiency and safety quality.

With the successful commissioning of No. 3 and No. 4 stations of the project, the construction of the new station has been completed, and the sulfur recovery and tail gas treatment devices of the three desulfurization stations undertaken by Jinxing Group have been fully completed. These important developments have laid a solid foundation for the full commissioning of the West Sichuan Gas Field.
